Legacy source
The Cloud source is a legacy, placeholder inventory and is retained for backward compatibility. Use the Vault source instead for cloud and HSM key inventory.
Overview
The Cloud (legacy) source provides a placeholder inventory of cloud KMS keys across AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, and GCP Cloud KMS. It predates the Vault source and has been superseded by it.
What It Scans

When to Use
Prefer Vault
For new scans, choose the Vault source. The Cloud source remains available only for existing, legacy workflows.
How to Run
Run a Cloud (legacy) scan from the Cockpit scan wizard:

Open Run a Scan
In the Cockpit, go to Run a Scan.

Select the source
In Step 1 (Source), choose Cloud, then start the scan and review the findings.
