Customer Onboarding & Proof of Delivery
On-premise engagements have two distinct phases:
- Initial delivery — DuoKey grants access to the documentation and the container registry, sends the credentials to the customer's designated recipient, and issues the invoice. This is what the Proof of Delivery (PoD) covers.
- Deployment project — the actual on-premise deployment then runs as a Time & Material (T&M) services engagement, per the agreed project plan.
The PoD is limited to the initial delivery: documentation access, registry access, credentials handover, and invoicing. It does not cover the deployment itself — that is delivered as a separate T&M project.
Phase 1 — Initial delivery (covered by the PoD)
What DuoKey delivers
| # | Deliverable | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Documentation access | Access to this on-premise documentation portal |
| 2 | Registry access | Access to the DuoKey Harbor registry — see Container Images |
| 3 | Credentials | Registry/login credentials sent securely to the customer's designated recipient |
| 4 | Invoice | Invoice issued to the customer's billing contact |
What we need from you
| # | Item | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Credentials recipient | DuoKey asks who should receive the credentials and sends them only to that designated person, over a secure channel |
| 2 | PoD recipient | Where to send the signed Proof of Delivery (email/address) |
| 3 | Invoice recipient | Where to send the invoice (email/address) |
| 4 | Order / PO number | Reference to quote on the PoD and invoice |
PoD acceptance
The Proof of Delivery is accepted once the customer confirms:
- Access to the documentation portal works
- Access to the registry works
- Credentials were received by the designated recipient
- Invoice received
Phase 2 — Deployment project (Time & Material)
After the initial delivery, a project plan starts and the on-premise deployment is carried out as a Time & Material services engagement, as agreed. This phase follows the rest of this guide:
- Plan & Prepare — prerequisites, DNS, images
- Deploy & Configure — installation and Cockpit configuration
- Secure — secrets, SSO, network, hardening, compliance
- Operate — monitoring, backup/DR, troubleshooting
The scope, effort, and rate of the deployment project are defined in the agreed T&M arrangement and project plan — not in the Proof of Delivery.

Initial delivery (covered by the Proof of Delivery)
- Access to the on-premise documentation portal

What happens next (deployment project)
Following this delivery, we start the project plan and carry out the on-premise
